Owl-Ways Learning. . .
Animal Research
All week we've been learning about different types of animals. We read books and watched Brainpop videos about mammals, reptiles, and even birds. Then, we broke up into our different animal groups to research information about our specific animal. Students are either researching information about a lion, elephant, or giraffe. We've filled up our animal research journal and are ready to begin our next stage of writing and publish our own informational report!
We will start to write next week and publish our books to be shared with you on the day of our celebration!
Types of Sentences
As we near the end of school we are continuing to work on crafting sentences and writing different types of sentences. Students are learning about different ways to punctuate a sentence. They've even created their own "rainbow" silly sentences!

Happy Birthday Georgia!
