Our Trash, Our Choice
In preparation for Earth Day, the Science Center held a school-wide assembly on waste.
The focus of their presentation centered on the magnitude of waste we produce everyday in the cafeteria and the choices we can make to reduce that waste. Every day, during lunch, the Science Center has helped assist our students in organizing their waste. The students organize their waste into three categories: Food Waste, Recyclables, and trash. This is in place of throwing everything into the trash.

- Our Book Buddies stopped by Friday morning.
- We learned about Community Helpers and their importance to our community. Ask your child to recite the community helpers poem.
-Look out for another class book called When We Grow Up!
-During Math, we are continuing to decompose and compose numbers. We concentrated on numbers 11-19.
-Thank you for filling out the Spring Conference Sheets. I will be getting back to you next week to set up an appointment.
-Next week we will celebrate Saint Patrick's Day all week with thematic centers and art projects.
-The Harlem Globetrotters will visit Fox Hill Monday during our lunch.
